Theodore (Ted) Roberts, age 77, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, KY.–He was born September 11, 1940 , in Lee County, KY and was the son of the late Floyd and Edna (McIntosh) Roberts.–He was preceded in death by his wife: ( The Love of His Life) -Irene (Johnson) Roberts.–One son: Ricky Lynn Roberts.–One grand -daughter: Melinda Sue Roberts.–One great- grandchild:  Jaiden Hicks.–He is survived by one daughter: Ethel Roberts Sandlin (Jerry) of Dillsboro, IN.–Five sons:  Ted (Chris) Roberts, JR. of Jackson, KY.–Darrell (Ada) Roberts of Lower Twin, Athol, KY-Carl (Lisa) Roberts of Jackson, KY-Floyd (Michelle) Roberts of Covington, KY–Kenneth (Vanessa) Roberts of Vancleve, KY–Two sisters:  Dorothy Johnson of Houston, KY–Judy (Eddie) Whalen of Cynthiana, KY.–Two brothers:  Wayne (Wilma) Roberts of Booneville, KY–Everett (Peggy) Roberts of Owenton, KY.–Eleven  grandchildren which includes a granddaughter whom he raised:  Jennifer (John) Negley.- Six great-grandchildren;  Three step-grandchildren .- Nine step great grandchildren.–Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Finley officiating.–Burial in the Roberts and Gross Cemetery, Lower Twin Road, Athol, KY–Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 6:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Family and Friends: A very heartfelt and special thanks to Nim Henson Nursing Home staff and Bluegrass Navigators.
