Sylvia Fugate Turner, age 69, of Albany, KY and formerly of Clayhole, KY passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the University of KY Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born October 1, 1947 at Lost Creek, KY and was the daughter of the late Pearl and Margaret (Spicer) Fugate. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Gene Turner. One daughter: Nancy (Turner) Radford. Four brothers: Matt Fugate, Jerry Fugate, Pearl Fugate, JR and Sam Fugate. She is survived by three daughters: Pat Coburn of Albany, KY. Connie (Larry) Kash of Campton, KY. Susan Brown of Bronston, KY. Two sons: Joe Edward Turner of Albany, KY. Jeffrey (Tanya) Turner of Albany, KY. Three sisters: Haney Gross and Deborah Prater of Old Buck, KY. Cora (Jim) Fraley of Saldee, KY. Three brothers: Donald Gene (Georgie) Fugate of Curt, KY. Ollie James Fugate of Saldee, KY and Harlan (Dora) Fugate of Jackson, KY. 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil Turner officiating. Burial in Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, KY. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
