Solomon Sylvester “Buddy” Noble, age 86, of Clayhole, KY passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virgina of a brief illness. He was a member of the Little Buckhorn Mennonite Church.  He was born November 1, 1938, in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Elias and Georgia Noble.  He was preceded also in death by his wife: Elsie Noble.  Two sisters:  Bobby Jo Freeman and Betsy Willyard.  He is survived by sons: Randall Noble of Clayhole, KY and Alan Noble of IL.  One daughter: Peggy Delacy of IL.  Three brothers:  Doug (Adna Mae) Noble of Lost Creek, KY.  Jimmy Noble and Ralph Noble of IL. Two sisters:  Lillie “Bootsie” Noble and Linda Hale of IN.  Three grandchildren:  Matthew, Andrew, and Sarah.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A graveside committal service will be held at a later date at the Noble Family Cemetery, Clayhole, KY.
