Shirley Combs Griffith, age 84, of  Quicksand, KY passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020, at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY.-She was born January 26, 1936 in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Willard and Lora Carpenter Combs.-She was preceded in death by her husband: Arch Griffith.-Her daughter: Regina Griffith Brewer.-Sister and brother in law: Rosemary and Ollie James Carpenter.-She is survived by her nephew: James (Lisa) Carpenter of Mason, OH. -Special Friends: Bill and Georgia Hays and Thelma Hays and extended Hays family.- Nieces: Jessica and Sara. Nephew: Jameson.-Several grand nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.-Private visitation and graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 3:00 pm at Jackson Cemetery with A.T.
