Sherman Ray Riley, age 84, of Cynthiana, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Signature Healthcare in Georgetown, KY.   He was born August 31, 1939 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Roscoe and Bessie Minton Riley.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Effie Little Riley.  Fifteen siblings.  He is survived by his step son:  Earl Sebastianof Hillsboro, OH.   His brother: Elmer (Laura) Riley of Cynthiana, KY.  A great nephew:  Ryan (Katie) Huff of Cynthiana, KY.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Swartzentruber officiating.   Burial in the Alice B. Turner Cemetery at Talbert, KY.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Sunday until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
