Sermantha “Jodie” Bush Taylor, age 61, of Whick, KY departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.– She was born July 2, 1955 in Breathitt County, KY. –She was preceded in death by her mother: Laura White-Noble. -Paternal Grandparents: Sermantha and Red Ab Bush.–Maternal grandmother: Vicie Mosley–Sister: Cora Faye Roe.–Brothers: Abby Bush and Green Bush.– Step father: Lee Burnett.–Brother-in-law: Vic Shouse.-Aunt: Alpha Haddix.– She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Diaz of Missouri.–Angela (Brett) Shepherd of Oklahoma.-Her father: Johnny Bush, SR of Lost Creek, KY–Step-mother: Bessie Burnett of Jackson, KY–Grandchidlren: Megan, Christian and Jonathan.–Sisters: Jean (Larry) Strong of Whick, KY.- Phyllis (Carl) Bush of Whick, KY.– Lena Shouse of Lost Creek, KY– Sandra “Bug” (Johnny) Nash of TX.–Brothers: Johnny (Linda) Bush JR of Whick, KY.–William “Willie” (Melissa) Bush of Ezel, KY.-and Greg (Becky) Bush of War Creek, KY.–Aunt: Louvenia Bush of Lost Creek, KY.–Special nieces: Ravin Raleigh, Shelby Strong, Dyllen Strong, Raylynn “Gracie” Sumner.–Special friends: Josh Strong, Barb Herald, Ranie Neace, Danny Bear Strong.–She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. –Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Danny White and Raymond Moore officiating.–Burial in the Strong Cemetery, Whick, KY.–Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services to be held at 7:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
