Sara Jane Arrowood Combs, age 85,of Bowling Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.–She was born June 26, 1932 at Canoe, KY and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Bertha (Bowling) Arrowood.–She was preceded in death by four grandchildren: Shawn Combs, Anthony Glenn Sizemore, Carlos Jason Combs and Billie Jo Clawson.–Three sisters: Mary Ellen Watts, Oma Rhoder, Geneva Arrowood.–Two brothers: Fred Arrowood and Ed Arrowood.–She is survived by her husband: Lewis Gene Combs of Jackson, KY.–Six daughters: Judy Combs of Whick, KY.-Carolyn (Bill) Clawson of OH; -Tina (Ricky) Sizemore of OH; -Betty Combs of Saldee, KY.-Connie (John) Williams of OH; -Tammy (Don) Lewis of Ned, KY.–Four sons: Donnie Gene (Fairy) Combs of Saldee, KY-Carlos (Teresa) Combs of Jackson, KY;-Teddy Combs of Stanton, KY;-Lewis (Tina) Combs, JR of OH.- One sister: Cora Bowling of Whick, KY.-One brother Herbert (Lillie) Arrowood of Lexington, KY.–Special granddaughter: Chloe Ingram:-23 grandchldren; -44 great grandchildren;-4 great great grandchildren;-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy and Ollie James Bowling officiating.-Burial in the Haddix Cemetery Inc.
