Sally (McIntosh) Miller Gross, age 78, of Knox, IN and formerly of Jackson, KY passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019, in Knox, Indiana of a brief illness. -She was born October 11, 1940, in Breathitt County, KY and was the daughter of the late Sam and Sara (Butler) McIntosh.-She was united in marriage to the late Bill Miller and then she married Elmer Gross, who have both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ray McIntosh and Jessie McIntosh.-Two step-grandchildren: Chase Miller and Jerrod Snyder.-Two adopted sons: Sam Stamper and Daniel Sheridan.-One special brother in law: Earnest Turner.-Sally had made her home at Wintersong Village Nursing Home in Knox, IN for the past seven years where she moved to be with her family. – Sally was a homemaker and worked for KY River Community Care in Breathitt County.-She enjoyed reading books, watching westerns and enjoyed being with family. She was of the Baptist faith. -She is survived by four sons: Freddie Miller, Roger (Nikki) Miller and Owen (Ramona) Miller of Knox, IN.-Wayne (Tammy) Miller of North Judson, IN. -One step-son: Bill Jr (Penny) Miller of Knox, IN.-One step-daughter: Janet (Bob) Edwards of North Judson, IN.-Two granddaughters: Natasha Miller and Mariah Manns of Knox, IN-Two step-granddaughters: Jessica Patrick and Kelsey Milliser of Knox, IN. Five grandsons: Derek Miller, Owen Miller, JR and Petyon Miller of Knox, IN.-Eric Miller and Freddie Miller, JR of Jackson, KY.-Two step-grandsons: Kolten Miller of Knox, IN and Phillip Edwards of North Judson, IN-One sister: Lois Turner of Jackson, KY.-She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Charles E. Deaton officiating.-Burial in the Prater Family Cemetery at Cannel, City, KY.-Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
