Ruth Jean (Stevens) Johnson, age 77, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.–She was born May 15, 1940 in Breathitt County, KY and was the daughter of the late Mayo and Gracie (Davis) Stevens.–She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Johnson.–Three sons: Larry Johnson, James Edward Johnson and Johnny Ray Gross.–She is survived by one daughter: -Jeannie (Robert) Fugate of Jackson, KY–Two sons: Mark Dan Johnson of Jackson, KY–Tim (Judy) Johnson of Tippecanoe, IN.–Six grandchildren:  –Timothy (Kayla) Johnson–Olivia (Rodney) Johnson–Jordan (Felicia) Fugate–Makayla (Geoffrey) Neace–Rhea Fugate–Miranda Kili Fugate.–Four great grandchildren:  Javiyn Johnson, Paxyn Johnson, Kayden Fugate, Sophia Fugate.–Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Armon Nichols officiating.–Burial in the Gross and Johnson Cemetery, Big Branch Road, Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers:  Family and Friends.
