Robert Terry, age 79, of Jetts Creek, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his residence.  He was born June 15, 1944 in Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Ed and Flora Young Terry.  He was preceded also in death by his brothers: Cecil Terry and Charlie Terry.  His sisters:  Thelma Terry and Hazel Terry.  He is survived by the love of his life and wed for 60 years: Ellis Herald Terry.  Three daughters:  Bobbie (Frank) Spicer of Ashland, KY; Cathy (Rick) Crowe of Lexington, KY; Janet (Kevin) Terry of Jackson, KY.  His dog and sidekick: Casper.  Seven grandchildren:  Robert Colton Terry, Kasey Gettis, Jared Spicer, Braxton Terry, Morgan Griffith, Dylan Griffith, Drake Griffith.  He is also survived by a host of great grandchildren , other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Finley and Robert Butler officiating.  Burial in the Charlie Terry Cemetery, Jetts Creek, KY.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers:  Kevin Terry, Robert Colton Terry, Frank Spicer, Rick Crowe, Roy Terry,  Jared Spicer, Michael Robinson, Brantley Campbell.
