Robert Ed Spicer, age 68, of Canoe, KY passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  He was born July 26, 1955 at Canoe, KY and was the son of the late Ollie Ray and Lizzie Johnson Spicer.  He was preceded also in death by a brother: Sammie Ray Spicer.  His sister: Ellen Fay Noble.  He is survived by two sons: Robert Len Spicer and Mick Spicer.  Seven daughters:  Robin Spicer, Jessica Spicer, Heather Wells, Krista Wells, Micky Lee Spicer, Sara Spicer and Greenlie Spicer.  Three brothers: Darrell Dean (Daisy) Spicer, Paul (Sue) Spicer and Martin Spicer, all of Jackson, KY.  One sister: Cheryl (David) Campbell of Jackson, KY.  29 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Clay Gross officiating.  Burial in the Spicer Cemetery, Joe Little Fork Road, Canoe, KY.   Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
