Robert Collins, JR, age 89, of Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his residence.–He was born March 21, 1929 at Wilstacy, KY and was the son of t late Robert and Parrott Jane (Strong) Collins.–He was preceded in death by his wife: Bobbie Jean Collins.–One son: Freddie Collins.–Two sisters: Dora Southers and Cora Faye Browning.–Two brothers: Mitch Collins and Finley Wells.–Daughter in law: Sharon Collins.–Son in law: Bill Back.–JR  was the long time janitor at Lees College in Jackson, KY -He is survived by two daughters: Carol (Richard) Capps of Campton, KY–Judy Back of Jackson, KY–Two sons: Charles  Collins of Hazard, KY-Lonnie  (Tammy) Collins of Chatsworth, GA.–Six grandchildren: Dewayne (Chasity) Rickerson; Brandon Adams, Natasha Coillins; Chuck Collins, Andrea Renee (Roy) Bowling,  Alanna Collins.–Twelve great grandchildren:  Cassandra Rickerson, Tyler Collins, Terrance Collins, David Kyle Noble, Dustin Scott Collins, Aryon Collins, Hailey Collins., Ellison Cate Adams, Walker Lee Adams., Bridgette Bowling,–Roy Bowling, Courtney Bowling.–One great great grandchild:  Xavior Bowling.–Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Armon Nichols officiating.–Burial in the Watkins Cemetery, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY–Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
