Richard Watkins, age 63, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY-He was born April 29, 1955 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Sherman and Lillie (Perkins) Watkins.-He was preceded in death by six sisters: Josephine W. Roberts, Stella W. Young, Dorothy W. Coleman, Mildred W. Fraley, Bonnie W. Short and Geraldine W. Rush-Three brothers: Bill Watkins, Charles Watkins, Sherman Jr. Watkins.-He is survived by three sisters: Florene W. ( James) Phillips of Lincoln Park, MI-Barbara Watkins and Oneida Watkins Henson of Jackson, KY-Three brothers: Joe Watkins of Lincoln Park, MI, John Watkins of Montpelier, IN and Cornelius Watkins of Jackson, KY-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating.-Burial in the Watkins and Fraley Family Cemetery at Wolverine, KY-Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Family and Friends
