Rena Catherine Fletcher, age 80, of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Hazard ARH.  She was born October 16, 1943 at Quicksand, KY and was the daughter of the late Floyad and Violet Trusdell.  She was preceded also in death by her husband: Gerald Fletcher.  Her daughter: Renata Fletcher.  Her brothers: Earl “Doody” Clemons and William “Billy” Clemons.  Her sister: Alva Margaret Clemons.  She is survived by her grandson: Zachary Fletcher.  Special friends:  Phyllis Clemons, Cora Shouse, Audrey Halsey and Mary Lou Herald.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  The expressed and written  wishes of Rena was that there be no services of any kind at her death.   Her only request was that her remains be interred at the Watkins Cemetery, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY next to her husband, Gerald.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
