Phyllis Minix Gross, 72, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Hazard ARH. She was born August 22, 1943 in Salyersville, KY and was the daughter of the late Earn Minix and Myrtle Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her husband: Woodrow Gross. One son: Sherman Gross. Three sisters: Dixie Whitaker, Opal Mann and Faye Maupin. One brother: Wendell Minix. She is survived by one son: Woodrow Gross, Jr of Jackson, KY; One sister: Hattie Campbell of North Judson, IN. Four brothers: Bobby Minix, Hillard Minix, Ocie Rowe and Carson Rowe; all of North Judson, IN. One special grandson: Sherman Dale Gross of Jackson, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00pm.-8:00p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Noon at the O’Donnell Funeral Home in North Judson, IN with Mike Noble officiating. Burial in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson, IN.
