Phillip gross was one of my favorite teachers and a friend all my life I thought so much of him my mother named my brother after him we have told some big stories to home mike and meldenare are good friends of mine I will miss him

Mr. Gross taught me math and blew my world wide open to the possibilities of it. I never understood the need or purpose until he told me he used Pythagorean theorem to square up his barn. He made it practical. He then made me feel I could do it and changed my world. I had he daughter for math and his sister for physics and they both furthered my education and love for numbers, and thus I went into the sciences as my profession. His impact on my life and success was HUGE. A hero he was his daughter and sister. An amazing man. Thanks Mr. Gross.
