Peggy Leigh Dawn (Gay) Moore, age 60, of Whick, KY passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 due to automobile accident. She was born Sept. 27, 1956 in Perry County, KY and was the daughter of the late Franklin and Alma Esther (Riley) Gay. She was the wife of Leon Moore who also perished in the auto accident. Peggy was a former teacher and basketball coach in the Breahitt and Perry County School Systems. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Peter Frank Gay and Timothy Gay. She is survived by two sons: Kyle (Crystal) Moore of Jackson, KY; Kevin (Bobbi) Moore of Jackson, KY. Four brothers: Fred (Debbie) Gay of London, KY; Robert Gay of Annville, KY; Phillip (Brenda) Gay of Utah; Doyle Gay of Hyden, KY. Five grandchildren: Natalie Faith, Haley Isabel, Elizabeth Faye, Andrew Shane and Bentley Jason. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Noon at Fairce O. Woods Coliseum, Bobcat Lane, Jackson, KY with Harry Kemper, Raymond Moore, Roy Moore, Gary Bellamy and John Bunn officiating. Burial in the Moore Family Cemetery, Whick, KY.
