Peggy Irene (Mullins) Barnett, age 59, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.-She was born October 26, 1959 in Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Mullins.-She was preceded also in death by one brother: Merdia Scott Mullins.-She is survived by husband: John H. Barnett, SR of Jackson, KY.-Her mother: Dorothy (Hughes) Mullins of Canoe, KY.-One daughter: Lisa (Thomas) Napier of (Little Buckhorn) Noble, KY.-Two sons: Kenneth Scott (Marie) Coomer of Jackson, Ky-John Barnett, JR of Richmond, KY.-One sister: Cora Lucille Mullins of Jackson, KY.-Five grandchildren: Amber Rose Allen, Jonathan Penn Napier, Olivia Sabrina Shae Coomer, Ethan Edward Scott Coomer, Andrew Kenneth Scott Coomer.-Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Finley officiating.-Burial in the Merdia Mullins and Stapleton Cemetery at Athol, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
