Pearlie Grigsby, age 91, of Jackson, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.-She was born January 1, 1928, in Perry County, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Sallie Childers.-She was preceded in death by husband: John Grigsby JR; Son: Jimmy Dean Adkins; Siblings, Earl, Will Henry and Stella Childers. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons: Gregory Cecil Combs and Jimmy Adkins II, and one great-granddaughter: Sara Adkins-She is survived by two daughters: Iantha Sue Combs (James Dale) of Beavercreek, Ohio; Sally G, Brown (Eddie) of Jackson, Kentucky; A daughter in law: Wilma Adkins: Grandsons: John Adkins, David (Stella) Adkins, and Glen Adkins.- Granddaughter: Cheri (Gary) Hill; Great-grandchildren: Kayla Hill, Kassandra Hill, Kameron Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Colton Hill, and Jake Adkins. Pearlie had a love for her family and friends. She enjoyed vacationing, gardening, and bird watching.-Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Smith officiating.-Burial in the Grigsby Cemetery, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY.- Visitation will begin on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
