Obie Moore, age 80, of Whick, KY passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.–He was born February 21, 1938 at Canoe, KY and was the son of the late Daymon and Essie (Arrowood) Moore.–He was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Hamblin.–One brother and sister-in-law: Leon and Peggy Moore.–He is survived by his wife: Lizzie Marie (Turner) Moore of Whick, KY–Three sons: Steve (Jonnie) Moore of Jackson, KY–Greg (Tammy) Moore of Jackson, KY–Jason (Hope) Moore of Elkatawa, KY–Two sisters:  Barbara Herald and Irene Moore of Whick, KY–Four brothers: Damon (Brenda) Moore, JR of Jackson, KY–Glenn (Mary) Moore of Whick, KY–Bill (Karen) Moore of Whick, KY–Layvon “Kido” (Marineus) Moore of Whick, KY.–Five grandchildren: Travis Moore, Cody Moore, Jason Moore, Brandon Moore, Maddison Moore.–Two great grandsons:  Tatum Moore and Tegan Moore.–Special Cousin: Floyd Francis.–Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Moore officiating.–Burial in the Obie Moore Cemetery at Whick, KY.–Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Grandson and Nephews.
