My Aunt, Nellie was a wonderful person. She always looked amazing and she shared her beauty secrets with my Mom, Faye Brown ,and I listened in. She had lots of interests and sparkled when she spoke of them, I remember her beautiful black eyes. She kept a beautiful home and cooked great meals. I know this as I spent lots of time with her and my Uncle Big Pete. They kept me and various of my siblings when Mom was with Charlie in the hospital at UK as he was pretty much every three months. When my brother, John died, Nellie took the roses my husband was given by EKU where he was a student in horticulture and made a beautiful cover for his coffin. Nellie was talented like that. I didn't learn of her passing until today. I would have attended her funeral or viewed it remotely had I known. I am glad to be able to express my love and loss today. I have several early photos, one I took in 1968 when she was pregnant with Shannon and another of me and Mom with Pete and Nellie in front of their house at Frozen. Good times. My thoughts are with Mark and Shannon and Nellies' kin their families at this sad time. Love, Cris
