Nell Allen Scott, age 88, of Clayhole, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.- She was born March 18, 1932, at Hazard, KY, and was the daughter of the late Ira and Ruphena Napier Allen.-She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda Arndt, and son-in-law: John R. Arndt.- Two sisters: Katherine Noble and Oneida Lovins. -She is survived by two sisters: Shirley Trost and Ann Napier.-Granddaughters: Lindsay (Dakshin) Murthy, and Stephanie Arndt; Grandson: Brett (Monica) Arndt: Great-granddaughter: Brynne Arndt; -Great-grandsons: Brendan Murthy and Luken Murthy and Isabella Arndt (great daughter), and a host of nieces and nephews.- Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Flatwoods Cemetery, Little Buckhorn Road, Noble, KY with Estill Barnett officiating.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-COVID-19 regulations of the state of KY will be observed at the cemetery.
