Nannie Combs Turner, age 75, of Lakeside Drive, Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.–She was born November 7, 1941 in Breathitt County, KY and was the daughter of the late Delbert and Dora Combs.–She was preceded in death by her husband: James Turner.-Two brothers: Clarence Combs and Virgil Raleigh.–One niece: Janet Arrowood.–Four Nephews: Terry Lee Cole, Stan Begley, Darrell Stamper, Garland Stamper.–She is survived by four sisters: Beulah (John Wess) Stamper of Miamisburg, OH.-Flora Stamper of Booneville, KY.-Betty Rose (Abe) Cole of Altro, KY.-Arlena (Silas) Turner of Altro, KY.- One brother: J.M. (Jessie) Combs of Independence, KY.–A Special Friend: Ben McIntosh of Independence, KY.–Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Turner and Charles Raleigh officiating. –Burial in the Oak Land Cemetery, Grants Lick, KY.–Pallbearers: Tyler Herald, James McQueen, Travis Watts, Jarrod Watts, Justin Haddix, Virgil Cole, Dale Stamper, Larry Stamper. — Visitation will begin on Monday at 6:00 p.m. –Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
