Mary Helen Strong, age 67, of Jackson, KY departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.-She was born February 9, 1952 in Breathitt County, KY and was the daughter of the late Jeff and Margaret (Cornett) Strong.-Mary was a graduate of KCTCS Nursing Progam and was a long time LPN at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, KY.-She is survived by two daughters: Tamara Strong (John Jenkins) of Beattyville, KY; Rebecca Moore of Jackson, KY.-Two sons: Christopher Back of Georgetown, KY; Hendryx Lee Montgomery of Jackson, KY; Two sisters: Linda Louise (Joel) Thomas of Jackson, KY; Teena (Willard) Short of Winchester, KY.; One brother: Alan Jeffery (Nancy) Strong of Jackson, KY; A lifetime special loving friend: Glenn Hudson of Jackson, KY; Five grandchildren: Jessica Lovins, Christopher Back, JR; Scarlet Brianna Jenkins, Aaron Jenkins, Halyn Jade Moore.- A host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.-Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy officiating and eulogy by Beverly Smith.-Burial in the Haddix Cemetery, INC.-Haddix, KY.-Visitation will begin on Monday at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.: Pallbearer: Family and Friends
