Mary Ann Salyers Spicer, age 66, of Old Buck Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the residence of an extended illness. She was born July 20, 1950 in Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Josephine (Haddix) Salyers. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Johnnie Salyers, JR; Coy Salyers and Gregory Lyn Salyers. One sister-in-law: Iva Fern Salyers. She is survived by her husband: Cecil Spicer of Jackson, KY; Two daughters: Donna (Clint) Patton of Williamstown, KY; Melissa Ann (David) Garrison of Jackson, KY; Two sisters: Regina (Charles) Duff of Beattyville, KY; Tina Sue Douglas of Bardstown, KY. Four brothers: Bobby James Salyers of Jackson, KY; Donnie Lewis (Sonya) Salyers of Jackson, KY. William Gary (Brenda) Salyers of Jackson, KY; Paul Douglas (Lisa) Salyers of Lexington, KY. Four grandchildren: Brittini (Jared) Hayes; Scott Daniel (Ashton) Spicer; Nicole Spicer and Brandon Cecil Whitely. Seven great grandchildren: Chloey Hayes, Tenley Hayes, Harper Hayes; Legend Hayes; Aries Spicer; Cullen Spicer and Kennedy Spicer. Special Friends: Regina Duff and Janet Adams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with George Dana Spicer officiating. Burial in the Spicer and Turner Cemetery; Town Hill Road, Jackson, KY. Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
