Martha Jane (Turner) Herald, age 83, of  Talbert, KY passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson, KY.–She was born August 23, 1934 at Canoe, KY and was the daughter of the late Sheridan and Betty Turner.–She was preceded in death by her husband: Virgil Herald.–Two sons: Jesse Herald and Eli Herald.– One sister:  Sarah Strong.–Two brothers: Sheridan Turner and Eli Turner.–She is survived by one son: Sheridan (Martha) Herald of Talbert, KY.–One grandson: Keith Herald of Talbert, KY.–Two sisters: Viola Sebastian and Arminda Bowling of Newport, KY–One brother: William Turner of Altro, KY–She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.–Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Silas Hall and Paul Hall officiating.–Burial in the  Herald and Hall Cemetery at Talbert, KY.–Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
