Mark Edward King, age 58, of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.   He was born August 1, 1966, in Campton, KY and was the son of the late George and Emily Stamper King.  He is survived by his wife: Jennifer Ogans King of Jackson, KY.  Two daughters:  Misty (Gary Shawn) Herald of Jackson, KY and Tiffany Deaton (Alan Williams) of Richmond, KY.  One special stepson: Jamie (Emma) Deaton of Booneville, KY.  One sister:  Marsha (Maynard) O’Hair of Jackson, KY.  Very special nephew:  Sherman Holbrook (Kate) and great nephew, Jamison and great nieces, Emma and Addie.   Grandchildren: Gabriel and Angel Williams, Cember Campbell (Michael Stamper).  Tayvn, Haddie Mae and Cazh Herald.   Step grandchildren:  Will (Addie) Deaton; Hunter and Emily Mosley.  Great granddaughter:  Neviah Stamper. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.   A Celebration of Life and Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
