Lucinda (Combs) Gross, age 83, of Haddix, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson.-She was born November 3, 1936, at Haddix, KY and was the daughter of the late Willie and Fannie (Hensley) Combs.-She was preceded in death by her husband: Porter Ray Gross.-One sister: Mary Nell Combs.-Two brothers: Warren Combs and Hargis Combs.-She is survived by three daughters: Dolly (Ivan) Barnett of Vancleve, KY.-Goldie (Russell) Hollon of Jackson, KY.-Norma (Chuck) Sizemore of Brownstown, IN.-Two sons: Amos (Eugeina) Gross of Winchester, KY.-Billy Ray Gross of Haddix, KY.- A special Nephew: William Combs of TN.-Two sisters: Barbara (Olie) McIntosh and Iva Fraley of Haddix, KY.-Five brothers: Willie Orville (Martha) Combs and Reed (Doris) Combs of TN.-Gene Combs and John (Joyce) Combs of Saldee, KY.-J.C. (Ann) Combs of Jackson, KY.-14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with John Bunn officiating.-Burial in the Gross Family Cemetery, Dry Bread Road, Haddix, KY.-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.: Pallbearers: Adam Barnett, Earl Collins, Charles Ray Sizemore, Billy Linville Gross, Martin Ed Spicer, and Russell Edward Hollon.-Honorary Pallbearers: Staff at Nim Henson Nursing Home: Members of Physical Therapy Department and Dr. Melecio Abordo.
