Linda Marie Combs, age 60, of Stanton, KY passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.  She was born July 10, 1963 at Houston, KY and was the daughter of the late Johnnie Green and Annie Sebastian Barrett.  She was preceded in death by brothers:  BG Barrett, William David Barrett and Gene Miller.  Her sister: Sharon Barrett.  Linda was an employee of the Dairy Queen in Stanton, KY for over 20 years. She is survived by her faithful companion: John “Jakie” Parks of Stanton, KY.    Daughters:  Daricka Combs of TN,  Daronica Roberts (Daniel Collins) of Hazard.  Pamela Arnold of Canada,  Natasha Mora (Rodney) of Morehead, KY. Tishena Parks of Clay City, KY.   Sons: John J. (Mindy) Parks of Stanton, KY and Brian (Kimberly) Parks of Somerset, KY.  Sister: Mary Braun of Covington, KY.  Brothers: Claude Barrett and Michael Barrett of Houston, KY.  Leonard (Lillian) Herald of Newport, KY.  Five grandchildren:  Dylan, Ryland, Taylor, Daniel, Brystal.  A very special nephew:  Hunter Barrett.   She is also survived by a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Engle officiating.  Burial in the Hannah Sebastian Cemetery at Sebastians Branch, KY.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
