Linda Jean Barger, age 55, of Berea, KY and formerly of Buckhorn, KY passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1968 in Hazard, KY and was preceded in death by her father: Fred Barger and her mother: Shirley Combs McIntosh. She also was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Madilynn Engle. She is survived by her step father: Larry McIntosh of Buckhorn, KY. Two daughters: Cassidy King and Courtney Deaton, both of Hazard, KY. One sister: Emma (Dustin) Neace of Gays Creek, KY. Two brothers:Frederick (Tammy) Barger of Chavies, KY and Travis (Bambi) McIntosh of Buckhorn, KY. Three grandchildren: Presley Baker, Haven Baker and Ace Engle. A very special niece: Michelle Deaton. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Community Harvest Church at Buckhorn, KY with Calvin and Carol Bowling officiating.
