Leon Moore, age 59, of Whick, KY passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 due to automobile accident. He was born May 9, 1957 in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Daymon and Essie (Arrowood) Moore. His wife, Peggy Leigh Dawn (Gay) Moore also perished in the auto accident. He is survived by two sons: Kyle (Crystal) Moore of Jackson, KY; Kevin (Bobbi) Moore of Jackson, KY; Three sisters: Shirley Hamblin of Whick, KY; Barbara Herald of Whick, KY; Irene (George) Strong of Whick, KY. Five brothers: Obie (Pat) Moore of Whick, KY; Daymon JR (Brenda) Moore of Jackson, KY; Glenn (Mary) Moore of Whick, KY; Bill (Karen) Moore of Whick, KY; Layvon “Kido” (Marineus) Moore of Whick, KY. Five grandchildren: Natalie Faith, Haley Isabel, Elizabeth Faye, Andrew Shane, Bentley Jase. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Noon at Fairce O. Woods Coliseum, Bobcat Lane, Jackson, KY with Harry Kemper, Raymond Moore, Roy Moore, Gary Bellamy and John Bunn officiating. Burial in the Moore Family Cemetery at Whick, KY.
