Lawrence Henly Fugate, age 78, of Left Fork, Duck Hollow Road, Lost Creek, KY passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born Oct. 31, 1937 in Perry County, KY and was the son of the late Chester and Elvira (Spurlock) Fugate. He was preceded in death by one step daughter: Brenda Gross. Three sisters: Helen Haddix, Audrey Mae Fugate and Wanda Faye Fugate. Two brothers: James Fugate and Bobby Gene Fugate. He is survived by his wife: Eva Watkins Fugate of Lost Creek, KY. One daughter: Diane (Gordon) Hilgendorf od Clarkston, MI. Two sons: Corey (Laurie) Fuate of Shelby Township, MI and Jerry (Kim) Ritenburg, of Norfolk, VA. One special nephew: Robert “Buck” (Rayetta) Fugate of Jackson, KY. Two step daughters: Lisa (Tom) Hayes of Mt. Sterling, KY. Stephanie (Jason) Jett of Vancleve, KY. One sister: Julie Hays of Owasso, MI. One brother: Chester Fugate, Jr. of Richmond, KY. Four grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, one great grand son and six great step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial in the Fugate Cemetery, Duck Hollow Road, Lost Creek, KY. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with additional singing at 6:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers: Friends and Relatives.
