Kevin Todd Collins, age 52, of Wilmore, KY passed on with family and friends in attendance at New Hope Hospice Care Center in Maysville, KY; Monday, August 14, 2017.–Kevin was born August 27, 1964 in Lexington, KY.–Kevin was a graduate of Georgetown College, KY where he lettered on the golf team; stroking a 190 yard hole-in-one.–He had an outstanding career in insurance, recently retiring due to ill health.–While serving on Crossroads Christian Church Board, Lexington, KY; Kevin had the privilege of baptizing his children (Natalie and Hager) into the faith.–Hager is a graduate of UK; Natalie has finished two years also at UK.-His wife Lisa is a practicing dentist.–He was preceded in death by one sister: Kelly Collins.–He is married to his childhoold sweetheart, Lisa Renee McClees, daughter of Ruth McClees Wiseman and the late Danny McClees–To the union, two children were born; Hager Collins and Natalie Collins, of Wilmore, KY.–Survived also by his parents: Owen and Janice (Taylor) Collins of Butler, KY.–One brother: Mark (Stephanie) Collins of Northville, MI.–A host of relatives and friends remain to mourn his passing.–Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Jesse Henderson officiating.–Burial in the Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin on Friday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.–In lieu of flowers donations requested be made to one of the following: Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Dr, Maysville, KY 41046;- Oakdale Christian Academy, Jackson, KY. or Lexington Christian Academy.–Pallbearers: Cousins and Nephew;-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
