Juanita Smith Fraley, age 93, of Lexington, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born March 16, 1931 at Ary, KY and was the daughter of the late Elige Smith, Sr. and Mary Ann Turner Smith.  She was preceded also in death by her husband: Lawrence Gray (Dood) Fraley.  Three brothers:  Calvin Smith, Elige Smith, Jr and William Smith.  One infant sister.  She is survived by son:  Dennis Fraley (Hermalee Hale) . Daughter: Debra Ann Fraley Hartley (Rick).  Grandchildren:  Deanna Keith, Brad Fraley (Linda), Sturgill Simpson (Sarah).  Great grandchildren:  Morgan Abshear (Austin), Tanner Keith (Paige), Ethan Fraley, Ora Simpson, Gus Simpson, Ellis Simpson.  Great great grandchildren:  Waylon Abshear, Carter Keith.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Bunn officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Friday until time of service.  Interment of remains in Jackson Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers,  donations requested be made to the charity of choice in honor of Juanita Fraley.
