Joyce Deaton Turner, of Franklin, OH passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her residence in Franklin, OH.  She was born January 14, 1936, in Breathitt County.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents:  Parrot Bryant and Wick and Susie Deaton.  Her loving parents: Luther and Josie Deaton.  Her husband: Wilson Turner.  Brother-in-law: Paul Hensley and sister-in-law: Jackie Deaton.  She is survived by two sons:  Keith (Leslie) Turner of Carlisle, OH and Kenneth Turner of Gratis, OH.  Her brother: Luther Deaton, Jr of Lexington, KY and two sisters: Mary Ellen Hensley of Lexington, KY and Phyllis (Harold) Holbrook of Jackson, KY.  Three grandchildren: Heather (Randy) Moreland, Abagail Turner and Luke Turner.  Two great grandchildren:  Fergus Moreland and Rawnie Jo Moreland.  Her niece and nephews as well as her great niece and nephews, and a host of friends and relatives also survive.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David Neace officiating.  Burial in the Haddix Cemetery, Inc at Haddix, KY.  Visitation will begin on Friday at 11:00 am until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers please donate in her memory to: Bethany Christian Mission, 17 Bethany Circle, Campton, KY 41301
