Joy Lee Spicer, age 79, of Jackson, KY passed away on Monday, January 11. 2021 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.-She was born December 20, 1941, in Salyersville, KY and was the daughter of the late Blanton and Vernie Lou Manns Howard.-She was preceded in death by husband: Morton Spicer and son: Billy Spicer.-She is survived by five daughters: Wilma (Eddie) Gabbard; Glinda (Wayne) Baker; Janet (David) Watkins; Bonnie (Luis) Rentas; Joyce (Jason) Crabtree; all of Jackson, KY.-Eight grandchildren: Christopher Ritchie, Michael Ritchie; Ashley Spicer, Becky Pitman; James Pitman; Josh Spicer, Mia Rentas, and JaredCrabtree; She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Cecil Howard and Rick Sallee officiating.-Burial in the Morton Spicer Cemetery, Armory Drive, Jackson, KY;-Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-COVID-19 regulations to be observed.
