John Douglas Clemons, age 57, of Lexington, KY and formerly of Breathitt County passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.-He was born April 7, 1963, in Perry County and was the son of the late George W. and Pearlie Spicer Clemons.-He was preceded also in death by two sisters: Geralene Caudill and Carolyn Watkins.-One brother: J.B. Clemons.-He is survived by his wife: Darlene Clemons of Lexington, KY.-One daughter: Devon Clemons (Anthony Burden) of Lexington, KY.-Five sisters: Geneva (Clay) Huff of Covington, KY; Joyce (Robert) Neace of Newport, KY; Faye (Bobby) Hall of Cincinnati, OH; Betty Boodry of Mt. Serling, KY; Donna Gail  (Dennis) Unruh of Alexandria, KY.-Five brothers: Dean (Betty) Clemons of Owosso, MI; Ronnie (Wanda) Clemons of Cold Springs, KY; Merv (Gail) Clemons of Florence, KY; Cubby (Charlene) Clemons of Fairfield, OH; David (Vickie) Clemons of Fairfield, OH.-Two grandchildren: Liam Douglas Burden and Lucas Robert Burden.-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel.-Burial in the Watkins Cemetery, # 2, Copeland Road, Saldee, KY.- Visitation will begin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
