Joe Morgan Watts, age 59, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1964 at Ary, KY and was the son of the late Clarence Edward and Mae Johnson Watts. He is survived by his son: Morgan Watts of Elizabethtown, KY and his daughter: Brittany Watts of Elizabethtown, KY. One brother: Henry Watts of Wolfcoal, KY. Three sisters: Patricia Gilbert and Norma Gail (Mike) Spicer of Altro, KY and Mary (Larry) Turner of Campton, KY. Two grandsons: Clarence Brendan Watts and Elijah Watts, both of Elizabethtown, KY. His fiancee: Christine White. A life long childhood friend: Teresa Gail White. Three special friends: McKinley White, Will Strong, and Levi McQueen. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Turners Creek Communuity Center at Talbert, KY on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Phillip Swartzentruber and Robbie Turner officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am at the church. Remains will be interred at the Deaton Raleigh Cemetery at Wolfcoal, KY. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
