Joe Deaton, age 89, of Old Buck Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence.–He was born May 15, 1928 at Old Buck, KY and was the son of the late John and Callie (Hall) Deaton.–He was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita (Combs) Deaton.-Three sons: Carl Deaton, Earl Deaton, Henry Deaton.–Three grandchildren: Lisa Shirley, Chad Clemons, Angie Little.–One great grandchild: Hannah M. Gass.–Three sisters: Ersie Miller, Shirley Bash, Martha Gabbard.- Three brothers: Jack Deaton, John Deaton, Henry Deaton.–He is survived by two daughters: Phyllis (Gary) Parks of Jackson, KY.–Naomi (Richard) Weber of Goshen, OH.–He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.–Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Deaton officiating.–Burial in the Deaton-Spicer Cemetery, Old Buck Road, Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
