Jesse Wade Herald, age 55, of Talbert, KY passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY of an extended illness.  He was born July 8, 1969, in Hazard, KY and was preceded in death by his mother:  Molly Jane Herald.  He loved family and friends, driving, riding helicopters and trading.  He is survived by his father: Johnny Herald of Talbert, KY. His brother: James (Pearlie) Herald of Talbert, KY.  His sister: Ida (Victor) Turner of Beattyville, KY.  His special cousin “Big Sis” Marlene Raleigh of California, KY.  Nieces and nephews:  Cora Tillett, Jamie Turner, Jonathan Turner.   Great nieces and nephews:  Annabelle Turner, Molly Turner, Tessa Wyrick, Daylan Wyrick, Caleb Turner, Brentley Turner.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and many friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Turners Creek Church of Christ at Talbert, KY with Silas Hall, Paul Hall, Albert Little and Phillip Swartzentruber officiating.  Burial in the Hall and Herald Cemetery at Talbert, KY.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 28 at the Turners Creek Church of Christ.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
