Jesse Spicer, Jr, age 75, of Altro, KY passed away on April 1, 2025.  He was born September 22, 1949, at Altro, KY and was the son of the late Jesse and Ethel Deaton Spicer.  Jesse was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by son: Travlis Junior Spicer.  Five sisters:  Sally Mae Turner, Audry (Sissy) Spicer, Mary Francis Spicer, Shirley (Luther) Deaton, and Georgia Spicer Bernard.  Brother-in-law: Doug Neace, Two grandchildren:  Sally Sue Spicer and Annie Lynn Spicer.

He is survived by his wife: Saley Spicer of Altro, KY.  Son: Scottie (Tracey) Spicer of Chavies, KY; Daughter: Connie (Mike) Ritchie of Jackson, KY.  Two brothers: Robert Lee (Mary Lou) Spicer and Linburg Spicer, both of Altro, KY.  Brother-in-law: Willard Bernard, Jr of Franklin, OH.  Three sisters:  Lula (Virgil) Stamper of Franklin, OH, Betty Spicer of Altro, KY and Theresa Neace of Jackson, KY.  Three grandchildren:  Ryan (Brooke) Spicer; Abigail Ritchie (Skylar Haddix), and Betty Rose Spicer.  Great grandchildren:  Emmy Jean Spicer and Grace Lynn Spicer.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Ryan Spicer, Chris turner, and Gary Riley officiating.  Burial in the Turner-Spicer Cemetery at Altro, KY.  Visitation will begin on Thursday April 3, 2025, at 5:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Active pallbearers:  Scottie Spicer, Ryan Spicer, Mike Ritchie, Mike Spicer, Chris Spicer, Skylar Haddix, William Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers:  Robert Spicer, Linburg Spicer.
