Jesse “Hoss” Gayheart, age 63, of Scottsburg, IN and formerly of Breathitt County passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Scottsburg, IN.    He was born November 22, 1960 and was the son of the late Farmer Eugene and Laura Faye Brown Gayheart.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon.   His two sons:  Jesse Joshua Eugene Gayheart and Landon Lee Gayheart.   His brother: Ricky Gayheart.  He is survived by daughter: Mollie Gayheart of OH.  Brothers: Josh Gayheart of Campton, KY and Curtis Ray Gayheart of Jackson, KY.  His sister:  Debbie Watkins of Portsmouth, OH.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.   He was laid to rest in the Roark Cemetery, Noctor, KY on Friday, August 9, 2024.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
