Jerry Childers, age 61, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his residence.-He was born May 7, 1958, in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Curt and Edna Mae (Hensley) Childers.-He was also preceded in death by two sons: Floyd Dewayne Childers and Jason David Childers.-One sister: Wilma Jean Childers.-He is survived by his wife: Nettie (Palmer) Childers of Jackson, KY-Two daughters: Robin Noel (Richard) Turner of Beattyville, KY.-Stephanie Joy Childers (Matthew Caudell) of Beattyville, KY.- Three sons: Jerry Lee Childers and Jimmy Curtis (Diana) Childers of Beattyville, KY.-Richard Eric (Kendra) Childers of Jackson, KY.-One brother: Jimmy Edward (Pamela Sue) Childers of Jackson, KY.-Two nieces: Kelsie Jo Childers (Taheton Stacy) and Nicki Paige (Justin) Fletcher.-19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.-He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Spencer officiating.-Burial in the Childers Cemetery, Burcham Fork, Jackson, KY.-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Family and Friends
