Jeffery Herald, age 34, of Canoe, KY passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his residence. — He was born October 8, 1982 at Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Steve Herald.–He was also preceded in death by his mother in law: Debra Hall.–Jeffery was a FMD Special Education Teacher at Highland Turner Elementary School in Breathitt County and was the Director at Buckhorn Children and Family Services for Autistic Kids.–He is survived by his wife: Michelle (Hall) Herald of Canoe, KY.–His mother: Louise (Deaton) Herald of Talbert, KY.–Two God Sons: Aidan Jay White and Austin Jeremiah White.–Two brothers: Terry Lee (Ruth) Herald of Jackson, KY–Steven Charles (Nora) Herald of Talbert, KY.–Father in law: Michael (Teresa) Hall of London, KY.–One sister in law: Candice Marie (Michael) Vires of Guage, KY.–Two brothers in law: Patrick (Theresa) Hall of Pikeville, KY.–David (Roxanna) Hall of Jackson, KY.–Five special nieces: Debra Mae Vires, Allie Herald, Pearlie Hall, Charley Hall, Elania Hall.–Four special nephews: Vincent Hall, Michael Ray Hall, Ryan Herald, Matthew Vires.–He is also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and loved ones.–Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Turners Creek Mennonite Community Center at Talbert, KY with Ricky Creech officiating.–Burial in the Buck Herald Cemetery, Talbert, KY.–Visitation will begin on Tuesday at the Community Center at Talbert on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. with additional singing at 7:00 p.m.–Active Pallbearers: Alan Jay White, Stevie Herald, Terry Herald, Chris Howard, Patrick Michael Turner, Michael Vires, Scottie Raleigh, Jonathan Raleigh.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–In lieu flowers, family requests contributions be made to: Buckhorn Childrens Foundation: Jeffery Herald Memorial Fund for Autistic Kids; 116 Buckhorn Lane-Buckhorn, KY 41721
