Janice Turner, age 83, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility in Jackson, KY.  She was born April 12, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Bill Glover and Stella Peters.  She was preceded also in death by her loving husband of 57 years: LC Turner.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter: Debbie Rastgar.  Her brothers:  Jonas Peters, Steve Peters, Dillard Peters, Jr, John Bill Peters.  She is survived by her sons:  Mike (Patricia) Turner, Millard Jr. (Amanda) Turner, Chris (Crystal) Turner, Johnny Turner.  Her daughters:  Beverly Turner (Randy) Sandra (James) Clemons.  Her brothers:  Frank (Lynn) Peters, Ronald (Betty) Peters, Ray (Brenda) Peters, and Roy (Alice) Peters.  Her sisters: Judy (Chester) Barnett and Mary Peters. 12 grandchildren:  Callie Allen, Kim Allen, Michael Turner, Megan Turner, Josh (Erica) Turner, Baron (Taya) Clemons, Donavan (Madison) Turner, Adrianna Turner, Austin (Savannah) Taulbee, Tristian Holbrook, Debbie Turner and Emory Turner.  Her beloved pet: Porky.  She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and may other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Clay Gross officiating.  Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
