Janet Holbrook Minix, age 73, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  She was born February 16, 1950 in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Hager and Lena Mae Holbrook.  She was also preceded in death by brothers:  Clyde Edward Holbrook, Carl Vance Holbrook, Phillip James Holbrook, George Curtis Holbrook.  Sisters:  Sandy Lawler, Neva Collingsworth, Kathy Wolfe.  She is survived by husband;  Willie Johnson of Jackson, KY.  Son:  Bobby Minix of Jackson, KY.  Daughter: Renee Holbrook of IN.  Sister: Carol (Alfred) Fugate of Jackson, KY.  Six grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl McIntosh officiating.  Burial in the Patrick Cemetery, Kings Branch Road, Jackson, KY.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
