James “Snook” Hudson, age 93, of Clayhole, KY passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his residence.-He was born June 29, 1925 in Tremont, Mississippi and was the son of the late James and Lula (Noble) Hudson.-He was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Drucill Fugate, Margaret Geneva Perkins and Ina Lou Southwood.-Two brothers: Reed Hudson and Roy Hudson.-Two grandsons: Martin Saylor and Brian Moore.-He is survived by his wife: Reecy (Kazee) Hudson of Clayhole, KY.-Six daughters: Margaret Geneva Barrs of Clayhole, KY; Joyce (Paul) Herald of Quicksand, KY; Mary Lois Hudson of OK.-Adna Mae Stone of Huntsville, AL.-Cheryl (Val) Franklin of Brodhead, KY; Kathy Nieman of CO.- One sister: Deborah Hudson and husband (Perry Dunmire) of IL. -Twelve grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren: Two special nephews: Raymond Hudson and Ed Southwood.-He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the Faith Bible Church at Clayhole, KY with Reverend Raymond Hudson officiating.-Burial in the Snook Hudson Cemetery at Clayhole, KY.-Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the church.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
