I truly loved James David…mostly as a dear, dear friend…but once, when I was involved with no one else, I loved him as more than just a friend. He was a good, pure soul….and I truly loved and respected him. One of the best kissers who ever put his sweet lips to mine. I know I shouldn’t write this down for just anyone to read, but Jane Ethel Smith didn’t always and still doesn’t always use her common sense…..but “she” DOES always tell the truth! I know he’s in Heaven. If God will let me, I pray to someday be in Heaven too!! If I do make it to Heaven, I know I will see my sweet friend there!

What can I, James David you were considered one of the gang on Picnic Hill. Always so polite, kind, loved . Never saw u when u weren't smiling. Love u and your family. Sooo proud of you and Penny for raising such wonderful boys. We will miss u dude. Peggy and David Patton.

James was a good man who valued friendship and family over all other things in life. Bubbles as we affectionately called him will be missed especially the times we all talked life and politics at the liquor store. Rest in peace old friend.
