She was an incredible person, and yes her cooking was the best you could ask for!! And Donnie loved her Chocolate Gravy and biscuits!! You Rest In Peace now, your back with your Son, Donnie💔🙏

So many find memories of aunt Gert and family. Loved traveling to visit the family and spend time with everyone. She was an amazing cook and a wonderful person and Aunt. She was certainly loved and will be missed

If only everyone could have an Aunt Gert!! I will miss you so very much Aunt Gert, loved sitting at your feet and listening to your stories as a kid and enjoyed it even more as an adult. No one can tell a better story than you, we hung on your every word! I don't know how many people I've told over the years that your the best cook in the world! Maybe it was so good because it was cooked with such love! Thank you for always loving me and always making me feel like I was at home, when we came to visit Grandma and Grandpa (but I always ended up staying at your house all weekend)!! I love and will miss you Aunt Gert, but you will never be forgotten and always in my heart, until I see you again!
