Floyd Wallace Raleigh, age 63, of Newport, KY passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He was born August 27, 1952 at Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Granville and Golden Marie (Herald) Raleigh. He was preceded in death by one son: Christopher Neal Raleigh. One sister: Golden Rose Raleigh. He is survived by wife: Judy (Griffith) Raleigh of Newport, KY. One son: Joseph Brian (Renee) Raleigh of Williamsburg, KY. One brother: Bobby Joe (Carol) Raleigh of Hamilton, OH. Three grandchildren: Hunter, Austin and Cheyenne and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Jesse Turner officiating. Burial in the Floyd Herald Cemetery, Pearlie Branch Road, Talbert, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. on Monday. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
